UNESCO Virtual Policy Dialogue, 27 October 2020. UNESCO aims to build an international policy agenda for digital preservation of documentary heritage and invites the preservation community to a Virtual Policy Dialogue (VPD) that will be held on Zoom on 27 October 2020 (flyer).
VPD is organized in two 90 minute sessions at 8am CET and 5pm CET, 27 October 2020. Hold your date.
The dialogue will cover key preservation topics under four themes cultural identity, sustainability, technology and legal frameworks and focus on the policy gaps in digital preservation.
The VPD is organized by the Preservation Sub-Committee of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme in collaboration with the UNESCO Information for All Programme (IFAP). The Preservation Sub-committee includes the UNESCO PERSIST project that is part of the UNESCO Digital Heritage Preservation effort.
